The most obvious tourist destinations in Africa are those that we have been exposed to over and over again, such as the temples and pyramids in Egypt. However, there are plenty of other places that you should consider visiting in Africa before you simply choose to head for the Sphinx.
Whilst Egypt is filled with history and culture, the abundance of package holidays to the area has lead to it becoming extremely commercialised over the past decade.
